go go beets, a friendly, lively, vegetarian 'grab and go' eatery in the seaside location of Portobello, Edinburgh.
The design remit was to produce a logo and branding, as well as create interior design concepts for the business. A colour palette of dark 'beets' pink, a range of greens representing the fresh produce on offer and a contrasting gold, was used to bring the space to life.
As part of the interiors brief, I had the idea to commission the creation of a bright, bold mural for the shop. Scottish artist, Rosalind Sanderson, has produced the stunning paintings that adorn the walls and table. Inspiration for the shapes used are reminiscent of those that can be found on the sand once the sea has gone in.
